What’s the difference between a Venue Manager and a Wedding Coordinator?
This is one of the most critical distinctions to understand when planning your day.
In short: Your Venue Manager looks after the venue’s interests. Your Wedding Coordinator looks after your interests.
Think of it this way: If your florist is late, or your photographer runs over the allotted time, it is highly unlikely the Venue Manager will call them to chase up. They are waiting for their caterer.
As your Coordinator, I proactively manage these external moving parts. If photos run over time, I manipulate the timeline, inform all necessary vendors of the change, and implement the solution to keep your entire celebration running smoothly.
The Venue Manager manages the building; I manage the entire event.
